How does it work? As a fastener is tightened it stretches (elongates) in length. Manual torque wrenches measure the force applied when tightening a fastener the accuarcy can be affected by temperature, friction and resistance. As BG80 & BG80TDL ultrasonically measures the change in length accurately determining the applied load of a fastener as it is tightened, they are not affected by these factors. |

ddd | Pulse - Echo Mode (PE) The normal display mode, measures the total thickness from the base of the transducer probe to the material density boundary (typically the back wall). Ideal for pit and flaw detection. |
